See how your worries turn out.

Say what's on your mind as the day goes, work through what sticks, and check back later on what actually happened.

The problem

In the moment, a worry feels certain. A week later it's forgotten, so nobody checks how it turned out.

In the moment

It doesn't feel like a guess. It feels like something you already know.

A week later

It passed, or it happened. Either way you've moved on without noting which.

So we never learn

How often the fear was right, and what we did that helped, goes unrecorded.

How it works

Say it. Sort it. Check back.

  1. 1

    Talk

One tap, out loud, no form to fill in. Often that's enough.

  2. 2

    Still there?

Tomorrow the app asks once. If it has passed, you're done.

  3. 3

    Work through what's left

A four-minute card: what happened, the thought, a fairer view, one next step.

  4. 4

    Check back

On the day you pick: did you do the step, and did the thing you feared happen?

  5. 5

    See how it turned out

Either answer goes in your record, next to what you did about it.

Screens are design previews. Numbers in them are sample data.

One worry, start to finish

Follow one worry through.

  1. Monday

    Said it out loud

"The client is going to pull the contract." Two minutes, on the drive home.

    Saved
  2. Tuesday

Still there, so worked it through

A fairer view: a tense call isn't a cancelled contract. The step: ask the client what they need.

    Step set for Friday
  3. Friday

    Did the step

Asked. They wanted a smaller scope, not an exit. Renewal still to come.

    Step done
  4. A month later

    Checked what happened

The contract renewed, at a smaller scope. In the record as partly.

    Partly happened

An illustration of how the app is used, not a real person's record.

Your record

Your own evidence, in your own words.

Everything you've said is kept in one searchable timeline, sorted by the part of life it belongs to. Next to each fear is what actually happened, and next to each step is whether it helped. Nothing is summed up until there is enough to go on.

Numbers shown in the screens are sample data.

Privacy

What you say stays on your phone.

Stays on your phone

Your entries are stored on your iPhone. Speech is turned into text on the phone itself.

No account

Nothing to sign up for and no login. Open it and talk.

Off until you turn it on

Sync and AI help come after launch. Both are optional and stay off unless you switch them on.

If you leave your email on this site, it's used for one message when the app is ready, and nothing else.

What it isn't

What it won't pretend to be.

Not therapy

A thinking tool, not therapy or medical care.

Not a chatbot

It doesn't talk back or write your thoughts for you. The words are yours.

No streaks or badges

Nothing to keep alive. A quiet week is a good week.

Coming later

What a longer record will show.

Before a hard moment

Note the fear before a difficult conversation, then compare it with what happened.

The story

It started as a paper card.

Before it was an app, it was one sheet of paper: what happened, how it felt, the thought, and a fairer way to see it, with a number beside each. One person filled it in for years, on real problems at work and at home. Turned Out keeps the card and adds the part paper can't do: it comes back and asks what happened.

Questions

Plain answers.

Is this therapy?
No. It's a thinking tool, not therapy or medical care. If you work with a therapist or coach, you can use it between sessions.
Where does what I say go?
Nowhere. It stays on your iPhone. Speech is turned into text on the phone, and nothing you say is sent to us.
Do I need an account?
No. Open the app and start talking.
What will it cost?
That isn't decided yet. It will be clear before you download it.
Is there an Android version?
Not at launch. Turned Out starts on iPhone.
When is it coming?
There's no date yet. Leave your email below and you'll hear once, when it's ready.

Say it now. Find out later.
